About the role:

We are seeking a full-time Data Validator responsible for reviewing and validating analytical data.

About you:

  • Maintain a general working knowledge of analytical methods, method updates, and method usage in order to monitor compliance with industry and local/state/federal regulations.
  • Verification of data to meet method and project criteria, including DOD Quality Systems Manual requirements. Become familiar with validation guidelines and tools used by client and third-party validators.
  • Perform other duties as assigned from time to time by management.
  • Validating analytical data in accordance with Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and Texas Risk Reduction Program (TRRP) and Department of Defense (DOD).
  • Examining data for inconsistencies, duplicates, missing information, and outliers to identify potential errors.
  • Creating and implementing data validation rules based on business requirements and data quality standards.
  • Performing checks against predefined criteria to ensure data adheres to established standards.
  • Working with different teams to identify data needs, address data quality concerns, and implement improvements.
  • Ensuring data validation activities align with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Two years of experience in an analytical lab focusing on Inorganic Chemistry (Wet Chemistry and Metals).

Physical Demands:

  • Able to speak and hear clearly while communicating with staff, management, and clients.
  • Able to sit, and /or stand for 100% of an 8-hour day.
  • Dexterity in hands and fingers to operate computer and other equipment.
  • Must have average vision and able to see to read reports and operate equipment.
